Upgrading my dies

I am currently using "Hornady" dies and am looking to upgrade to the redding competition series dies. Not sure which set I should pick. The full delux 3 die set or just the seater.
Some of the number series are a bit confusing to me. I will have to order them on-line as nobody out here in the Edmonton area carries them.

Redding delux die set category 1 type S bushing style dies #58287 (3 DIES)

Redding type S match neck die set #38287 (3 DIES).

Which category # are you redding folks using?

I just bought the seater die. There were no issues with my RCBS FL or neck sizing bushing dies so I didn't replace them. Now the RCBS seating die I had wouldn't seat bullets straight. When I switched to the Redding Competition Seating die my run out problem was solved.

I have to ask....have you checked runout after sizing and loading with the Hornady dies?

All of mine have been awesome.

Yes, I do own Redding as well...but for a factory barrelled rifle, I don't know if I could tell the difference (especially, with me pulling the trigger!! )

I did buy the Hornady micrometer seating stems....for $20....they are nicer to adjust.

Gube, had the same run-out problems with the RCBS Competition Seating dies.Went with the S bushing style dies from Redding and like skipper said "solved the problem".Also have talked to people who have had great results with the Hornady micrometer seating stem, not bad for a $20.00 item.

Gube; Where are you planning on ordering your Redding seating die from. I am interested in the same one. Midway won't take our money or credit cards and I doubt that Cabelas will ship reloading equipment to Canada. If you find a vendor let me know.

Singleshot:

I'm pretty sure Sinclair international will ship to Canada. (still checking it out).
I see they have been listed on E-bay as well, so that may be another option.
