Good 204 bullet for predators?

Just picked up my first 204 and need to work up a load for predator hunting. I need a bullet that will work well on coyotes and bobcats with minimal pelt damage. Any suggestions?
Thanks,
Mr.T

The 35 Berger is a proven predator round, no doubt....
I've proven this myself...
40 Vmax on the agenda next followed by the 40 Berger....

The Hornady 45 gr soft point is also supposed to be a great round for yotes.

35 grain bergers are the way to go for coyotes, but I'm not too sure for bobcats. You could probably use the same bullet but I would load down a hair. I've shot a ton of coyotes using the 35 gr bergers with 28grs of H-4895 over the past few years and have found most of the coyotes with just an entry hole and jello insides, but have had enough times when they bullet would pass through usually leaving a hole about the size of a nickel. But bobcats being thin skinned those occasional pass through might blow up a little too much. My 2 cents

My partner shot a cat head on with the bergs. going about 3900 and it didn't even bleed.

Hmmm, good to know.
Have a place in mind this winter that has a bunch of bobcats. Hopefully I will find out for myself.
