Got all my new reloading stuff today, And I was wondering if I should just run the expander ball through the NEW Lapua brass without the bushing. Or use bushing and ball to get the dents out.... Them Wilson Mic seaters sure look sweet!! I hope they work as good as they look!!!

I would run them both on new brass. After that ditch the expander ball unless you are shooting an auto.

Mike: I agree with WP. Remember that the necks of Lapua brass are very consistent in regard to neck thickness. Any dents or inconsistencies in the necks that may be present (doubtful) will be transferred to the outside of the neck with use of the expander ball.

On domestic brass, after neck sizing with the expander, it is easy to pick up these irregularities with a concentricity gauge and then neck turn if necessary. Doubtfull you'll ever have to neck turn Lapua brass though, as it's about as good as it gets.
