Thanks Lee. I'm gonna need a few more myself. I just found out yesterday that my VLP loves the 35 Bergers with Benchmark also. 26.6 grains of Benchmark is now my most accurate load for BOTH my 204's. Not sure why, but it seems to be a perfect match. This combo outshot every load to date in my rifles the first time out!! :D

Thats good to here your doing good with the35gr bergers and benchmark powder. I might just have to try the benchmark powder the way every one is talking about how much they like it.

Does anyone ever shop at Grafs.com. The prices are usually very close to the same as Midway but they do not charge shipping. They only charge a 3.95 handling and insurance charge on the entire order.

Here in Ariz there has been quite a discussion re: best bullet for yotes. I shoot a 40 gr V-max and many have said that is fine for varmints, but prefer Berger HP's for yotes. Any first hand experience with that here?

I printed off the Hodgdon .204 reloading data chart from the link mentioned on this post. Am using H4895, 26.2 gr for my 40 gr. V-maxs. But looks like Benchmark is the powder of choice for the 35 gr. Berger's???
Like the accuracy so far of the V-maxs but always looking for something "better."
The Hodgdon chart shows 26 gr of H4895 for the 35 gr Berger. Any guesses just how different from my 40 gr V-max the point of impact will be ?? Just wondering. . . .
Thanks. B. Corley, Ariz Quail Hunting Camp

Hodgens data for H-4895 gives a max load of 28.2gns for the 35 Berg. POI shift will be left up to the discretion of your rifle.
Usually within 1 moa but one never knows.

Guys,

Gotta chime in here, I dont have my .204 just yet, but have been using Benchmark for 2-3 yrs in my .223 and it is an awesome powder, stable, smooth and dependable.. Really looking forwards to to matching up the 35gr Berger with benchmark.

The Sportsman Warehouse in my area published a $10.00 coupon "off any purchase" locally and so far I have used two and have 4 more. It sure is great to by a box of the 35gr Bergers for $7.99 + Coupon. Schwing!!!!!!!

Kyle,

Sorry for the late reply, but it was a local coupon in the local mailbox marketing paper. Local being Fargo Nodak..
