just got some nice groups with 10x and 35g bergers, (5 shots at 0.450 in a gusty 5-10 mph wind) just wondering does anyone know what an approximate velocity figure would be for 25.5g of 10x behind a 35g berger? forgot my chrony today and wont be back at the range for a while so just want to asess the potential ballistics downrange.

That's a hot load you have there!

You should be in the neighborhood of 4050-4100 fps from a 26 in. barrel. I was getting those results with my Panda. Remember your rifle may, and probably does, vary from my rifle.

hi there skipper, thanks for the reply, I would guess, mine is probably just nudging over 4000 then as my barrel is 26 inch but doubt the cooper barrel would be as quality as your panda's. Do you mean hot load as in loaded hot? dont really want to run her too hot but it was the most accurate load closley followed by 25g of 10x, I was getting slight pressure signs on the primers but even factory ammo is doing this in my rifle.

According to Berger: 21.5(Min load) gives 3512fps, and 23.8(Max load) gives 3821fps.

I came up with my minimum and maximum loads for RE-10X by using the other published data for the 32 and 39 gr Sierra's. By using a little math and the published minimum and maximum data for these two bullets I was able to calculate what the charge for the 35 and 40 gr Burgers would be. I'm just going by bullet weight using percentages.
