Welcome to the forum. You will find lots of great advice on here. First, where in the heck you from? I could spend a week driving to every gun shop in Michigan and still not come up with the variety of bullets and powder you have found. I am lucky to find 32gr vmax and I live within an hour of five different sporting good stores and powder, what a joke. Any way good job finding the components.

I have a TC venture predator and it likes everything I feed it using either 8208 or H4895.
My favorite load for coyote is 39bk on top of 8208. It has only accounted for two but it put the smack down on them. One at 20yds and one at 300. I think that load was right around 26.7gr but that is just from memory. You need to be safe, ref the manuals, start low and work up. I was using Fed match primer and rem brass. I have now switched to rem 7.5 primersbecause thats all I can find.

I havent shot cats or fox with it, so dont know how that will do but have shot squirrel with it and the 26gr varmint grenade rocks them right out of the tree. Only take head shots cause I like to eat them sometimes.

Be careful and have fun.
Bob

I agree with Bob, I too just got a 204 I loaded up 24 rounds of the Hornady 32 gr v-max with 3 different powders and the 8208 was amazing. Havn't put a round into a critter yet but at 4000 fps I'm sure it will do the trick.

I am not familiar with magtech primers so cant help you there but alot of guys use match primers in the 204. There seems to be a common theme that with 204's the cci400 and standard sr primer cups are too thin and can cause issues with piercing and cratering. HTH

Hi I did find where some guys was talking about them and said they was very good primer plus for a AR. I know in midway magtech is 3.00 higher than other primers i don't know why. One guy said they was a little thicker good for reloading in AR's. That's what the older man used them for his AR. But I did score on Remington 7 1/2 match. 2000 the guy said they didn't sell as good as the federal. But I was glad to get Remington.

I use Hornady cases, Remington 7 1/2 primers and 27.5 grains of 8208xbr with a 39 grain Blitzking bullet seated at 2.30.
Out of my M77 Mk II VT I'm getting 3875 fps and 1/3 moa with this load.
