Alliant make RE10x and can be found here in Aus. But ADI AR2219 I am certain is the equivalent burn rated powder made in aus!
Have a look on the ADI website for the equivalents

My 204's like the the following recipes;

39 SBK, Reloader-15, Remington 7 1/2 primer, REM case
39 SBK, H4895, Remington 7 1/2 primer, REM case
39 SBK, IMR8208-XBR, Remington 7 1/2 primer, REM case

Some other powders that have shot well are Varget, Benchmark and as previously mentioned, Reloader 10x. There are some ball powders that shoot well too such as H335 & WIN 748. Under one of the FORUM menues, there is a thread of favorite 204 loads that may provide more info.

Jim, what load ranges do you use for 39SBK with XBR 8208? Finally got my SBKs in after a 5 month backorder and am interested in using this powder.

Thx

My Tikka T3 seems to only like 32 grains, preferably SBK and IMR-8208. I've tried several loads and the "middle" of the powder range seems to give the best results. However, I still have trouble trying to make any combo shoot better than the factory Hornady 32gr V-Max.

My custom .204 loves the following,

With a 1/11 twist barrel

Winchester brass - fully prepped by myself
Federal 205 primer
25.4 grains of Re-loader 10
39 SBK sat on the top.

Muzzle velocities are 3707 ftps (Not the fastest) But what ever I shoot with it does not feel the difference. There is another accuracy node higher up at 3850-3900ftps with the same accuracy but I thought whats the need to ring its neck for an extra 200 ftps.....Ballisticly in the field there would be little if any noticeable difference.

Steve.
