Hi there. I,M after some more brass! The hornady stuff I will never buy again . at least 50% of it split the case necks after about the 2-3 reload. I feel the Norma brass is A little expensive. What brand should I order, plus how many reloads are you getting on average from you brass. Thanks

In 204r ,I have shot Winchester,Remington,Hornady, and Federal.None has been shot more than 3 times, except the Federal, which I first used for load workup in my LRPV.I did not anneal, and the cases have 12 fireings.Try annealing the necks to see if that helps.Other brass is Norma,Nosler(made by Norma,I believe).I will be anelling all my WW/RP cases after the next fireing.

Are you certain that you aren't doing something wrong? How did you narrow it down to the brass? R=P and Win 204 brass is scarce in my experience lately.

Haven't heard much positive comments WRT Hornady 204 brass. I use R-P. What ever you do try and get as much of the same LOT you can.

Nosler is the best brass currently available for the 204 Ruger. However it is a bit pricey at approximately $40 for a box of 50. We do have access to it if you need some. Just pm me and i can get you a price quote.
