I saw these listed on one of my varmint forums and the users seemed pretty positive about them. I searched here on the word Armageddon and got no hits - anyone tried these yet? Thanks.

Try Varmageddon on search.. I have used botht he HP and tipped, prefer the tipped. They work right alongwith their other varmint bullets, but are priced a little less. You would most likely like them. Bill K

I have used the 32gr. tipped in my .204. They are super accurate in my Rem. 700 VLS. When I was working up a load I shot one three shot group that went .168. The largest group was .735. I have only shot one badger with it. Big male, about 150 yds., center of chest, right below the neck. Just a small caliber sized entrance hole, no exit. He dropped right where was sitting, DRT. So far I like the Varmageddon, hope to try it on coyotes before too long.

Used the .224 40 grainers on sage rats. As good as a v-max. Pretty much the same thing. It just comes down to economics.

In my .204 I get 3/4 to 1 inch groups with the 40 gr. V-max, not quite as good as the Varmageddon.

Shot a good number of the HP versions in the 243. Quite happy with them.
I only switched to the Z-max(a V-max with different color tip, AND the new AMP jacket) due to pricing.
The Varmageddons are quite a deal.
