My local gunshop has been out of 39gr Seirra BlitzKings for months. I got tired of waiting so I emailed Sierra to find out what the problem was. Here is part of the email reply.

"It is scheduled for press time but it is still at least a couple of months away before it will be produced. We have been out for some time now so I do not have any that I can get filled for you. Sorry not the news you wanted to hear but on the good side we will be making it again…Check back with us in a couple of months and check the status and we should be able to give you a more definite date at that time"

They have been out for months and don't plan to produce any for months. Sierra doesn't appear to be very interested in us 20 caliiber shooters.

Tokimini: I feel your pain, but if you have never worked in the industry, specifically bullet making, realize for a moment that this company not only produces varmint bullets in virtually every appropriate caliber, but also precision match bullets, and their bread and butter line of big game bullets....... in all the various calibers for each of these offerings. At this time of year, most makers are struggling to keep up with the yearly fall hunting bullet demand.

Being very familiar with the Nosler operation here locally and their constant production demands for all their bullet lines, match, big game, dangerous game, AND varmint, and knowing how many presses they have in the plant, it's a small wonder you and I have the amount of good bullets we DO have from the primary makers on store shelves most of the time.

If Sierra is only a few months out for the .20 cal BK's, I'd say we're all very fortunate. Be patient buddy, and maybe consider that this is the bullet maker that brought out some of the very first .20 caliber production bullets for the .204 Ruger before you make statements like that online. Two months?......Give 'em some slack.

I just ordered a 500bulk 39SBKs from Brad a few weeks ago + 1500 Nosler Vermanators and received them in a week or so.CaLL CRT!

I hear you Rick. I wouldn't be so aggrivated if they weren't my favorite bullet. Patience has never been one of my virtues.
