+1 on the "Headspace Gauge"... My AR has a custom cut chamber and the gun smith cut a headspace gauge at the same time he chambered my barrel....

Depending on your response from RCBS, you may want to consider obtaining a new die with a slightly better reputation... A couple of years ago, I moved up to the Forster Benchrest series and have been really happy with the overall results....The neck sizing ball seems to produce a more consistent neck tension and I've had less problem with the overall performance of the brass..

Brass for my AR gets the full treatment for brass prepping, while those for my bolt action will usually only require neck sizing for the first (and sometimes second) reloading..

All New Brass gets the full treatment of FL sizing, trimming, de-burring/chamfering, and tumbling before getting primed and charged...It may be a couple of steps that are considered as unnecessary, but it makes me feel better... :D
