Hi all
I have been home loading for a while now, I have always found RL15 a good allrounder powder for 32g and 40g Vmax but sadly RL15 is getting harder to source near me.
I am looking for options on another powder that may perform similar in my Rifle?
My 204 Howa 1500 has a shorten barrel.
Any suggestions?
Many thanks Ash

Try some CFE 223, works well in my 204R, with 32 - 45.6 grain bullets. Hornady Data site as start/max loads listed. Another good powder is Xterminator. Bill K

Let's not forget RL 10x, or Benchmark, or N133. All great powders for the 204 Ruger. Serve some to your 204 Ruger and see what it prefers.
