Hello. Any reloading tips for loading my .204 Ruger AR 15 with 1-9 twist 24" barrel? As you know, I'll be limited to a COL of 2.260 because of the magazine. Thanks for any info.

Open your favorite load manual, pick a starting load, and get after it.

I'm a firm believer in the theory that if it bleeds, I can kill it.

Re: Reloading .204 with 1-9 twist
I have a similar barrel and it handles 40 grain noslers just fine. 32 and 39 grain bullets should be no problem as well. I'm a huge fan of H322 and Benchmark in the 204. I shoot H322 in the AR with the noslers and results are remarkable.
Pick a safe starting load and work up to find the sweet spot.

Re: Reloading .204 with 1-9 twist
I have a 9 twist Shilen barrel on my Rem 700 and the 39 grain Sierras with 27.9 gr of CFE223 group the best. 25.8 gr of AA2230 also works well. I got a lot of keyholing when I tried 32 grain bullets.
