Savage Model 10 with the 'Heavies'
Anyone have good results with bullets greater than 35g in their Savages???

39 sierras work very well in my 1:12 savage model 12... 40 bergers stabilize, but don't shoot quite as accurately as the sierras. Factory hornady loads with 40 vmax are moa or smaller for me.

Seems that the 39 SBK's work in just about all of the factory 12 twist barrels. The 40 grain V-Max is much more particular as to which barrels it likes.
