Hi folks,
Sorry to be a pain. I have looked at the load data on the forum, but there always seems to be one thing different to my set-up.
After good advice from this forum i now have a consistant good group with my 32's, in my CZ 527.
However, i'm about to try the Hornady 40gn vmax heads along with IMR 8208 XBR (mainly. Due to less heat effect) But also the Hogdons BL-C 2.
The brass is Winchester and the primers are CCI.
Does anyone of you folks use this set-up, or very close to it that could point me in the right direction as to what powder charge to use? Generally speaking i seem to get better overall accuracy with higher loads.
Any tried and tested accurate loads would be appreciated.

jam1e: Are you in possession of a recent edition of a reloading manual?

Hi Rick,
Yes i have. It's the 2nd Edition Modern Lee reloading manual.
I know each gun suits different loads, but i was just trying to find some tried and tested loads and give them a go first.
I have a strict regime when reloading and never go outside the recommended min or max loads.

jam1e,
BLC(2) is about all I use in my .204. I shoot 30 gr., Win. brass, Rem. 71/2 primers with the 40 gr. V-Max. That is pretty much max. so work up to it. I get 3/4" to 1" groups with that load. The most accurate bullet I've used in my rifle is the 32 gr. Norma Varmageddon.
