How to keep brass from tarnishing?

When I reload, I usually do a couple houndred rounds at a time. Depending on how often I shoot, that can last me 2-3 years. I've noticed that over time the brass starts to tarnish, so...

1) does shooting tarnished brass make your gun dirty?
2) how can I keep it looking nice and shiny?
3) do tarnished bullets have reduced accuracy?

1) not unless you have Lube on them.
2) If I know they will sit, wipe them with your silicone gun/rod cloth.

the best way i have found to keep brass from tarnishing is by using a product like Rooster Bright brass polish with your tumbling media. I tumble all my brass in walnut media with the Rooster Bright and it keeps the brass looking great. I haven't tried it for a 2-3 year span, however I do have some ammo left over from last years Pdog shoot and it still looks nice and shiney. The less its handled the nicer it stays. If you tumble the brass in media treated with Rooster Bright, then immediately load it and place it in ammo boxes it will stay looking nice for a considerable amount of time. I have been using Rooster Bright for many years, actually long before we ever started selling it. The good thing about this product is that it doesn't take much of it to get the brass looking great, One bottle of it has lasted me for many years now.
