remington and 40 grain bullets

Post by sakofan »

My remington vsf 1/12 wont shoot the hornady 40 grain vmax but the 39 sierra bk shoot ok.
I just wondered if these rifles will shoot the 40 grain berger and nosler bullets.

The only way to tell is to try 'em. Lots of guys have Savages that shoot the 39gr SBKs very well, but mine doesn't. Shoots 40gr just fine.

Neither of my Remington's will shoot the 40 VMAX. The CZ shoots it OK, but the 39 SBK shoots better.

My 700 SPS shoots them both very well, the 40 gr Vmaxs slightly better. It shot the 40 Bergers very poorly.

Mine used to shoot the vmax very well but it seems to like the nosler better now. I am fixing to try the bergers
