New 20 Caliber 34 & 40 grain Bullets

Post by wirelessguy2005 »

In the past I have mentioned that i would soon be offering a 20 caliber 34 grain hollowpoint bullet. The time has arrived and they will be ready to ship by the end of the week. This new bullet is similar to the berger 35 grain in many ways. These bullets wear a J4 jacket just like the berger bullets, however our bullet does have a smaller hollowpoint and a bit higher BC than the berger. Please let me know if you have any questions.

Thanks,
Brad

I will be offering them at an introductory price of $25.99 per 100 plus shipping. As a special promotion i will be offering FREE shipping to anyone that purchases a tool at the same time as the bullets. The website is not set up to handle the free shipping promotion so anyone that's interested will need to PM or email me and i will send you an invoice via email. Please let me know if you have any questions.

Thanks,
Brad

Here is a picture of the new 20 caliber bullet. Final weight on it came in at 34.1 - 34.2 grain so we will end up calling it a 34 grain bullet. Look closely at the picture and you will see that our new 34 grain bullet is actually more streamlined than the 32 grain VMAX. We have taken a picture with some of the more popular 20 caliber bullets. From left to right the bullets in the picture are: 34 grain dogtown, our 34 grain HP FB, 32 Grain VMAX, and 39 Grain Sierra Blitzking.

Very nice Any thought to producing something in 39 to 40 grain range?

i have the ability to offer 40 grain bullets, however with the dies that are currently being used they would have to be a flat base 40 grain bullet. To be honest the flat base design is good out to about 350 - 400 yards, beyond that range the boat tail bullets really start to shine over the flat base. If enough people are interested in a 40 grain option i will look into it. Anyone interested Please post up or PM me.

Thanks,
Brad

If you offered a 40 grainer I would definately give them a shot to see how they perform on coyotes.

I will look into the option of a heavier bullet. However i think if you give the 34 grain bullets a try they would work excellent on Coyote's. Just an option.

Nice looking bullet Brad. I for one am interested in getting some. PM me an invoice and I"ll get some ordered. I really like the idea of a 34gr. Coyote bullet. Early on when the 204 first hit the market I knew of a few brave souls using the Berger 30gr. Match bullet for Coyotes with great success. I don't know if Berger changed the design or what happened, but not many use it any more.
Now that your started in the bullet making business, when can we see some 25gr. and 30gr. match 17 caliber bullets. hint, hint :chin:

Thank you for your interest in the new 20 caliber bullets. I have PM'd you with the ordering information.

As far as 17 cal. bullets go i won't ever rule the possibility out, however there are already a couple of companies offering 17 caliber bullets: Todd Kindler is one of them and Chan Nagel is the second. They both offer some great 25 and 30 grain bullet options.

I will have to look into getting some. I have plenty of Berger 40s for now but would like to try yours when you make them. I have never tried the 34-35 grainers yet but soon it will happen.
