204 Load Date
Are any of you loading any of the Accurate Powders in your 204's and if so, what powder and loads are you working with? Bill K
Re: 204 Load Date
A2230 has done decent for me. I usually shoot between 26.9 and 27.2 g with a 32 v-max for a velocity of about 3,925 with low end and 3,975 fps on the high end. Anything in that node has shot pretty well. Rifle is a Savage 116 Weather Warrior with 22" barrel. I've used mostly Winchester Brass and Wolf SR223 primers with the 32's with an oal of 2.345. Average group is about .4-.5 moa. Have also shot a few rds. of 40v-max using Rem 7.5BR primers with best accuracy at 26g of A2230. That gave a velocity of 3,675 fps and shot just under 1 moa with an oal of 2.350. I did not try 39 sbk with A2230, but would expect them to shoot under .5 moa in this loading.

Re: 204 Load Date
That would put it right around the area that IMR 8208 is doing in my 223, load/grain that is, not velocity. The 204 being faster. I can not locate any load data for 2230, which is what I am after. I have a email to Accurate to see what they have found or have done with the 204, so will go from there and your info. Thank you Bill K
