Head space with my .204 ruger hawkeye

I am trying to find out if anyone is playing around with head space clearances with the ruger 204 hawkeye or if people are assembling to factory lengths. I only ask this question as in my ruger there is a stop in the magazine chamber stopping you from getting much over 30thou from factory lengths?
