Have been happily shooting 40 gr V-Max bullets from my CZ for a while now.
On a whim (always looking for better accuracy) I picked up a hundred Berger 35 gr varmint bullets. Started loading them over BLC(2), same as I use with the 40 gr Hornady bullets. Am loading them to magazine length for my CZ varminter.
Anything I should look out for while loading and shooting the Bergers?
Thanks, Guy

Re: Berger 35's
Was getting .4 to.5+ groups with the 35 & 40 grain Bergers,until i started seating them deeper.2.235 to 2.240 OAL.Got .169 with the 35grain & .141 w 40 grain out of savage 12FV.Just wish they were cheaper.

In my gun, seating them farther out brought on the magic. They were AVERAGE at best when seated around 2.250" AOL. Get those bergers out to 2.340" AOL or so and THEN they shoot well. Just goes to show how different guns from different companies can be.
