Value of One-Fired .204 Brass?????

Hello All.....I don't reload and have a guy who wants to buy my one fired Hornady .204 brass at $3.00/box (20 rounds). This seems a little light to me, but maybe not. Any thoughts would certainly be appreciated.

I haven't had much luck reloading the Hornady brass, it would be my last choice. New .204 brass goes for $20-24 per 100, so I think he offered you a fair deal. Especially, since you don't reload. My .02 worth.....

Back when brass was scarce as hens teeth I was paying $12-15/100 plus shipping to get what I needed.

Here's my 2 cents.
I personally really like Hornady brass. $3.00 is pretty low for 20...

204 Nosler brass is $77.40 per 100 = $15.48 per 20
204 Norma brass is $77.00 per 100 = $15.40 per 20
204 Rem. brass is $22.95 per 100 = $4.59 per 20
204 Win. brass is $19.60 per 100 = $3.92 per 20

I would put Hornady brass somewhere between Rem and Norma, it's definitely not as cheap as Rem, but not as pricey as Norma.
$3.00 is fair, $5.00 is a little more realistic. I guess you have to ask yourself how good of a friend this is. You could always give them away (since you don't reload)
Brass is expensive, and going up with the cost of metals. I just bought a box of 100 Lapua .308 for $70.00 delivered...

Thanx Gentlemen.....I 'll likely shoot for the $5.00. That's kinda what I had in mind anyhow. Part of me wants to keep the stuff "just in case I ever start.....". Then again, I have a whole cellar full of "just in case I ever start....." stuff that drives my wife crazy. The Hornady facory 32's shoot awsome from my Remington 700 LVSF. Yesterday, I had five shots you could cover with a quarter at 100 yds. The groundhogs I've blasted this summer (42 so far) absolutely hate it. I shot one off a round bale at 330 yards (ranged) the other day with impressive results. Sadly, that's the farthest I can shoot in that field. Take care.
