I have an .204 with a .24" 1:10" barrel. I worked up some 32gr and some 40gr over Reloader 10x. Both shot nice groups. The velocity on the 40gr was in the 3800's (I dont have the exact #s handy, but I think avg around 3840). I found the 32gr struggling to beat the velocity of the 40gr. I finally broke 4000fps but I didn't like the look of the primer so I would have to back off that load probably leaving me in the low 3900s.
Any suggestions on a better powder/load for the 32gr? Perhaps I should seat the bullet a few thousands deeper. Is this 1:10 twist just too fast for the 32gr?
Thoughts appreciated

Switch to a different powder.
Benchmark and H4895 work very well (and part of the extreme powders from Hodgdon - some swear by the extreme series, some don't).
