Hello, I have a DPMS AR-15 in .204. I was wondering if any of you can tell me how you are loading anything heaver than 32g. I am having trouble loading 39g Blitzkings. Everyone one that I have loaded thus far slips right into the case with very little pressure. I mean the bullets go right down into the case after they have been seated.
Thank You
Chris Crawford
Does anyone load the .204 for use in the AR-15.

I was having the same problems. I switched to a RCBS full length sizer and it stopped. You could probably just get a smaller bushing for your die.

It happens with any brass I try, new, used, any brand.
I am using a RCBS neck die right now.

Your going to need to get a full length sizer anyways then. If you don't your cases won't chamber/get stuck in the chamber.

You can neck die for bolt action, but semis need to be FL. You might want to keep a close eye on your OAL, because if you use a .223 magazine the case on a .204 is 0.09" longer than .223 case.

Take out the whole expander decapper unit and measure the expander ball, make sure it's the right size. Either way what was said before you will need to full length size for semi-auto.
