Nuts and bolts of it
Simple, straight forward, and lots of adjustment. Ahhh...the user does not need to THREAD the powder measure into the stand. For some reason, this is a pet peeve of mine. RCBS engineering got it right on this one. Remove the locknut on your powder measure, set into the stand, tighten the lock ring on the bottom.
Remove your current funnel from the powder measure and thread "The System" into your RCBS Powder Measure. (Note - this system will only work with RCBS brand or other brands that have the same size/thread pitch of the lower powder funnels).
Lots of adjustment available from the black upper tube (approximately 3" up/down adjustment", 4.5" green tube, and approximately 30 degrees of angle adjustability.
After the initial setup, fill your powder hopper and the hopper for the trickler now included on "The System" (sorry...not going to type out the entire name each time).
I did not have any success in dropping the powder charge into a normal sized beam scale powder pan. Due to the speed of the powder after being dropped out of the cylinder, ball and stick type powder slides over the edge of the powder pan. A couple of kernels of powder on my bench is not an uncommon thing, but this would produce piles of powder.
Hmmm...solution? As you can already see from the pics, the solution is simple. An empty medicine bottle, wiped with a dryer sheet to prevent static electricity, will work perfectly.
Having the built in trickler on "The System", allows the user to trickle the last kernels to the powder bottle.
Final Grade: A- Using a bottle instead of a powder pan is a minor inconvenience. If the bottle was included, I would give "The System" and A. Is not written in any descriptions that I have found, but I believe this was developed for users of electronic scales.
