I wonder if somebody could give me some advice on powders.
I`ve only been reloading for a few weeks and have so far got a load of 32g V-max,br4 primers, remi once fired brass and 30.3g of blc-2.The oal is 2.295 and the velocity is 3960.It is grouping in a consistant .5/100 yards and im quite happy with it,however i`ve got some 35g bergers on there way and my question is this?
The powders ive got at the moment are blc-2,hodgdons 4895 and viht n-140,and im wondering what you would recomend for 35g bergers from a 22 inch barrel.
My own guess would be blc-2 as its slightly quicker(supposedly)and may give a bit more velocity.
Eventually i will probably try them all but id just like a bit of advice to get me started.

I'd probably try Benchmark in that 22" barrel.

4895 does wonderful as well.
BLC is a slow powder in these cases. 30 grains is at or near the capacity of the case.

I use Benchmark in my Savage Predator with a 22 inch barrel. 26.6 grains Benchmark,35gr Berger and CCI BR4 give me a velocity of 3665 fps out of a 22 inch tube.
