Favorite 39-grain load for my CZ VARMINT Walnut in 204
The 39 BK shoots extremely true from by CZ Varmint. When using the BR-4 primer to set off a max 28 grain charge of Varget. The seating depth gives me an OAL of 2.285. Consistantly producing groups under a half minute when I am that consistant

Figured I'd kill two birds with one post. My 1st favorite load and some shot paper.
As of today this is my personal best with this rifle.
The pressure was really on with #5 and I choked!

I just started reloading for .204 Ruger. What a fun gun!
My first batch of reloads for my CZ 527 Varmint was:
Winchester cases,
CCI BR4
39 gr Sierra BK
RE 10X 25.2 grains
C.O.A.L. 2.250
avg 3740 fps
and yielded .300" group at 100 yards
This load may be a tad over Sierra's recommended but have seen no pressure problems with the cases.
Definitely close enough for ground hog work, maybe smaller targets.
Will work a little more on the C.O.A.L., maybe get into the point twos.
The CZ seems a really accurate carry gun.
EDITED 24 April 2007 Load reduced to 25.0 grains Reloader 10X as the 25.2 grains was causing a very fine fracture/stress line from the base at the rim along towards the shoulder where it tapered off. I figure this could become dangerous with subsequent loadsings and at least would produce a very short life for the brass. The 25.0 grains still shoots < 0.500" groups. COAL is now 2.315

My LRPV likes
26.6 grains of H322 or 27.4 grains (still working out which is better)
Winchester cases
32 grain Hornaday V-Max
Remington 71/2 primers
OAL of 2.29
5 shot - .4" groups at 100 yards
I've only got 80 rounds down the pipe and I'm playing with the OAL so I expect the groups to tighten.

It's more important where ya hit 'em, than what ya hit 'em with.
