Seceding from some states ?

Post by Bill K »

I see more states have started movements to secede from the state they are in and become part of a neighboring state. Latest one is some portions of Oregon's eastern ones.
What is the thought in your area Rio ? And would that actually be better ? I sure wish my area of California would do so and become part of Nevada. just for record, years back this area of Lassen Co was in Nevada and they even had a small local war over it, but the then residents decided to stay in Ca. sure will they had not.

( anyone wanting to give me their thought with PM, rather than in the thread, do so. Mod's if out of place you sure can delete my post, I would understand. )

Someone has brought to my attention that "Idaho's Greater Plans" has Lassen and Modoc counties in California listed as some counties that would want or Idaho would include. Sure hope so. But, overall, know that for state counties too do this would be a very hard process, if it ever occurred.

Bill, I can only speak for myself and my close friends when I say that virtually all of us would like Oregon to be at least evenly split between the two parties, but the sad fact is that we're governed by a complete libtard idiot governor and our state senate is another majority liberal joke. So "yes", myself and most if not all friends would like to see our border moved to be part of conservative Idaho, but it's not likely to happen, at least in my lifetime. It's been talked about since the end of WWII, so I don't see any actual border moving anytime soon.

Good idea to rid ourselves of this "progressive liberal" thinking, which is tearing our country apart and is simply a veiled attempt of subverting our country into a socialist/communist enclave. But moving borders requires approval of both state and federal government (Congress), so don't hold your breath waiting for any real changes. :?

Same with me and my friends here in N.E. California, we would love to be part of Idaho instead of the commie state Newsome, Feinstein and others in power have taken us.
But like you it has been talked about for a long time and probably will not occur, as you also say, in my lifetime.

I don't know how to attach a article out of the Redding, Ca newspaper about Idaho's proposal, and probably should not post it here for political reasons, etc. but I could email you it if you would like to read it.
PM me a email address, if you want and I will do so. Bill K :)
