204um Challenge News
I thought I would start a new thread for official type competition posts. I mailed about thirty envelopes today. I forgot the return address labels so I had to stand in line and hand address all thirty envelopes. Please, disregard the hen scratch. That will teach me. Targets should start arriving as soon as this weekend for those folks close to Houston and a couple of days later for more distant addresses. If you were registered by last night, your target(s) are on the way. If you don't get them in a reasonable amount of time, let me know.
I'm going to Chicago Monday and won't be back home until Wednesday so I won't be able to get more targets out until Thursday next week. I'll still be available on the forum but I won't be able to make any forward progress on mailings until I return. The electrical industry stops for no one.
If you want to compete, drop me a PM with the essentials and I'll keep up the mailings until there is no more interest or time runs out. Remember, your targets must be post marked by October 1st.

Here's a link to the rules thread.

To register, send me a PM with your address, number of rifles and which class each will be in. All targets must be post marked by October 1st to be eligible for scoring. Use the return envelope provided to mail your targets back to me.

Re: 204um Challenge News
I just put the finishing touches on another batch of envelopes. This time I remembered the return address labels. They will go in the mail on the way to the airport tomorrow.
Please, check your PM's. One of you forgot to tell me which class you will be shooting in and how many rifles. I have sent a PM to all who registered so you would know I've got you covered.
I guess no one has gotten their targets yet. I sure thought they would be showing up this weekend. The post office must be busy this week.
Here's the latest talley:
Black Rifle - 4
Factory Rifle/Factory Ammo - 6
Factory -29
Factory Custom - 6
Custom - 2
I have some good news. One of the members here has graciously offered to give away custom powder funnels (204 of course) to the first place winners. As soon as I here back from them I'll tell you their name, if they so wish. Many thanks, to you for your generousity.

Cool, I'm glad to hear they arrived. I guess some will start showing up here on my doorstep pretty soon. That's when the real fun will begin.
I suppose you guys want a lot of teasers, right?

Re: 204um Challenge News
I was playing around with the idea of each first, second and third place winner getting a competition icon to place in their signature line. How does something like this appeal to you?

I'm finally in the hotel room in Chicago. I got 8 straight hours of writing regulations tomorrow. After that balckout in the north east a few years ago the government wants new rules so it won't happen again.
