Today is the day folks.

If you are going to submit targets they need to be postmarked today.

A hat wave to all who participated!

I am sending mine, but my corner threw in the towel. The target is REALLY that bad.

Barrel is ordered, should be here in the first part of next week.

I sent mine in too. Really rough day. Windy, target backer moving like crazy, bench not to sturdy, cold, last day to shoot, and every other excuse I can use. REALLY bad, but fun to shoot. I was hoping for about .25" and shot about 1.5". Sorry such a bad performance, but I'd be in for something else later.

Thanks to Wrzwaldo for all the work. It'll be fun to see all the results.

I think we are all in for another go at this. It might be nice to have a shoot in late July or August next year. The wind might not be so bad and the range might not be full of hunters sighting in for the upcoming season. There's always next time.

I have not entered the postal shoot due to the fact that at this time of year it is impossible for me to go to the range due to the numerous big game seasons that open in Idaho and the resulting barrage of hunters sighting in. It is a zoo that I can not deal with. I would be very interested in a shoot earlier in the summer. I have not had a reason to respond to the postal match threads, but at this time I would like to pass along my thanks to WrsWaldo for all his efforts to get this off the ground. I know from past experience how much work is involved.

I imagine WRZWALDO is up to his neck in targets and micrometers right about now. He could just post 'em and we could measure 'em.

Actually I'm using "Group Size Calculator" on most of them... The bugholes do require verification with the caliper.

I hear your target arrived today, I also hear it looks pretty impressive (new small group leader?).

The last two times out the same guy sat next to me with a Browning A bolt 300 ultra mag with BOSS  . Nice guy though. Just have to double up on the ear protection.

What brand barrel did you get?

For now, I purchased a Savage SS fluted takeoff. Waiting to hear back from PacNor for the barrel I want.
