I hadn't given it much thought considering Covid restrictions. You think there's enough interest to make it worthwhile?

I would hope so, this year, but not sure either, with what is going on. Did seem like more would have entered in the past, then did. I really would like to see it again, but also thought about shooting and entering and having you not post my target, if I did about the same as last time.
Would love to see others place in top three. Then again, being a year or so older and not as steady, I could blow it, but still have fun. :D :D

Just as a matter of interest, how many here would sign up for another "Five on the Dime" shoot. Let's see how many of you respond. :)

Skipper put on a shoot, over the last few years, around June, with a target he sends to those that want to shoot. No entry fee or prize, etc. except a 1st, 2nd & 3th place for smallest groups and the posting of said winners on site.
Target is a type that does not allow shooting, for score, on anything but the one sent out. And it is returned by a deadline date, so he can score and post winners. Check back on this site and you will find he posts with a rule listing and a photo of the target used. 100 yrds, five shots with the 204 R only. :)

Look under Shooting competions and you will see ( five on a dine shoot-2019 is one)

I'm willing to host a competition if there is enough interest. Let's say 10 or so members want to shoot in a competition, I'd do that. If not, we can wait till next year. I know waiting is not a very exciting option, but a less than competitive competition is not going to satisfy anyone either.

Hi Bill K and others - I had a go at the last comp and would love to try again now that I have tuned up myself a bit on the 204( its me not the rifle!) would be good to see some others from down under and other countries have a go.
There was no issue with getting the target mailed to south Australia and sent back as the time frame was enough at the last comp
Please include me again if it goes ahead - i'm getting some good practice at present as lamb prices are very high and I am out a couple of times a week shooting foxes
Cheers

It would appear from the response's, that there might be five people interested. That surely is not enough for Skipper to have a shoot this year. I suppose maybe the Covid-19 and maybe lack of reloading supplies is keeping many from wanting to shoot them in a little friendly competition. :(

Well that looks like upwards of 5-6 now. But remember skipper said he needs 10 or more to do the shoot again. :)
