I will tell you Sir, do what you can now, and as much as you can, before age does set in. I am 79 now and I can tell you the last couple years are starting to tell. The old heart and mind say GO, but the joints, aches, etc. say Slow down. The wife keeps telling me "Your not 21 anymore" So go for the gusto now... Bill K

And like I said, I am happy with my group, it will beat some, but I also know other's will top it. But it is all in fun and friendly competition between those of us, here. :D :D

I have completed my 5 shot group.
Bit great if I'm being honest. But it's done and I will post it back today.
As said earlier you never know where you will get placed if it's not posted.
Conditions weren't great. It was good fun.

The post told me yesterday, that mine should reach you in about 3 days. I think you are going to see a flood over the next week and will be super busy scoring and recording. But I sure Thank you for all your work and effort. Bill K :)

Hi Everyone,
This is my challenge target and I am not going to send it back to be scored as I have taken too many shots.

The top shot was my first shot and the lowest shot on the target was the second shot I took, and it felt great but, when I saw where it was I couldn't understand what happened. I thought I would not be sending the target back for scoring so I went ahead and took a total of 11 shots to try to understand what went wrong as the last 2 practice targets I had shot the night before were very good but it was a little windy. I decided to wait until the next morning when it would be a little calmer and it was but, very humid (mid 90's). After some reading I think that may have been some of the problem anyhow that is what happened.

I decided to post the target so you would have another target to compare too. I also like the idea of a monthly shoot of some kind.

Dan

Shilohman.. Not much younger, but 74 is better than 79. No matter, your first five shot/group, you should have sent it back, I bet it would beat some, more than you might believe. And remember this is just a fun shoot, no blood or prizes involved. Bill K

I feel like a pup here at 64. Oh and Shilohman check the scope rings and mounts. I had that problem a couple of range trips ago, took me about 3 groups before I figured out I had one loose screw and then even at that did not make sure the pins were not firmly forward against the rail post so I wasted a 4th group before I got it right

I've got more than one loose screw (so I've been told numerous times). LOL

Thanks for starting all of this activity Skipper, and devoting the time for us all.

I have returned my target and I am not happy with my results. On the bright side I now have a year to become a better shot!!! Looking forward to seeing small groups by other shooters.

Sorry didn't read the bit about asking for official target. Been out today to range. 5 shoots 100yds think it's about 0.6moa as half inch squares.
