Ar shooting 4" left scope issue?

My ar is shooting 4" to the left and my side to side adjustment is all the way to the right. Is this a scope issue? I have a Stag Arms upper and a Ds Arms lower. A friend of mine said its because it's custom built and wasn't guaranteed. I personally think its a scope issue. It was shooting 8" left last weekend but I worked the side to side a little bit thinking that my cross hairs were stuck. Scope is a Nikon Monarch 5x20x44

Bore sight the thing and see where the muzzle is pointed in relation to your scope.......that'll clear things up right away.

I had a Nikon m-223 mount. Took it back and exchanged it for a Burris one...problem solved

Yes bow shot that would be the one. I couldn't remember the name in my last post. When I purchased the M-223 mount the salesman never mentioned it would be a pain in my hind end to install correctly. Apparently they are windage adjustable when installed so your suppose to have a bore sight on the barrel?
Thanks for the suggestions everyone

That much off it is one of two issues (Probably) either the mounts are F'd U or its operator headspace......

It was the mounts. Changed them out and I was back on track
