When I built frankenstein from start to finish. It cost me right at 855.00 including freight. I got a complete upper from modelonesales shipped to me for 605.00. My lower cost 135.00. Butt cost 55.00.trigger was 55.00. I haven't regretted it yet.

I'm really enjoying this rifle! Even went ahead and sold the tack driving bolt gun because this one is doing just as good (and I don't have a budget that supports two, lol!)

that link you put up said that the clip can only hold 5 rounds in a 20 round clip ? are there 20 round clips that hold 20 rounds ? i am thinking that this is only for this one model.

Note: Because of the taper on .204 Ruger cases, the .204 Ruger 20-round magazines will actually only hold 5 rounds per magazine. Do not attempt to force more than 5 rounds in the 20-round magazines.

that was on the link i put up. varoum put up that link first. was begining to think i posted on the wrong thread.

what is the point of having a 20 round clip if you can only fit five in there ? stil wondering if that is true for all 204 clips or just that one brand of ar ? kindof a nerd i read everything. are there 20 round clips that hold 20 rounds ? if not what is the point of having a 20 round clip ? ok i am stuck on the fact just and not get over that .... welcome. nice one on the bottom with the rails. like that one. again still learning about the ar platform.
