What kind of magazine are you guys using to get the longest COAL?
I have some plastic 30 round mags that allow about 2.250 max COAL.
Is there other brands that allow a longer COAL?

Re: Magazine for AR
I don't know which of my mags will allow a longer COAL. Feeding and reliability far outweigh another 1/10 of and inch group reduction.
I'm not knocking your effort. Most mags are gonna be within 1/100 of each other. Just cuz it goes in the maga doesn't mean it will feed though.

C Product mags I can do 2.260". Believe it or not I have never rapid fired either of my AR's. Without pushing it I have had no feeding problems and yes possibly greater accuracy with the bullet seated closere to the lands.

I have Armalite 20 round, and colt also some generic 30s all work fine loadng to max OAL of 2.260
Re: Magazine for AR
The 20 rd HK mags I have will comfortably hold rounds seated out to 2.27. However, I think the 20 rounders are discontinued.

My favorites are some Colt 20 rounders...but all of mine (metal) hold 2.26" if I want to push them...slightly shorter rounds seem to be more accurate..

Re: Magazine for AR
Old post but I'll respond anyway...............a 10 round C Products has been a solid performer in my 204 AR along with 20 round Magpuls. I can seat a bit longer with the C Product than I can with the Magpul.
