New R-15 in 204
I have been wanting one long enough and finally went and bought one yesterday. Remington R-15 VTR with 22" brl. I also picked up all I will need to reload for it. I hope I won't be disappointed. I couldn't pass it up for $799 on sale. Does anyone else have one of these, and what do you think about it? Thanks

Re: New R-15 in 204
I have one but with a shorter barrel. I like the gun but the trigger is really heavy, looking to replace the trigger or maybe upgrade to a trigger spring kit for it.
My gun is kind of picky to reload for, it does not shoot hornady bullets at all. I have tried several combinations of powder and bullets with limited success.
What I have found that works best for my gun:
Win brass
CCI450 primers
IMR8208 XBR powder @ 27.5g
Sierra 32 bullets
OAL 2.250"
Good luck

Thanks for the info. I bought 32 gr. v-max's, remington brass, and H335. I hope I don't have any trouble, but will keep you posted.
