Got this one Sunday morning........

Post by Keith in Ga »

only bird I heard gobble. The day before I heard 4-5 birds in the same area. Pretty decent bird for the second day of season. He weighed 20 lbs, 10 1/2" beard, and 7/8" spurs.

My Browning Citori "chalks up" another one. The o/u is for me an ideal turkey gun. I shoot #6 in one bbl and #4 in the other. The gun is a killer out to 50 yds.

Keith: Congrats on a nice bird. Gotta love those O/U's too, my favorite in the shotgun department. Looks like you had a good day afield, and dinner at the same time.

Nice turkey Keith,
I like the o/u for turkeys. Never considered it before (probably because I don't have one), but it makes sense. Quite a few mt. lions where I turkey hunt so if I had one I'd probably load one tube with buckshot.
