Anybody tell me honestly about a 1300 winchester?

Post by robert w. »

Local pawnshop got a pristine winchester 1300 delux in 20 guage. Wood is perfect no scratches or rust on blue. It has the box, owners manual,3 chokes n choke wrench. He is asking $300 im thinkin of offering $225.
I never was around a 1300 so are they good, bad,or ugly? It pumps smooth feels great to shoulder.

I would grab it if I were you. $300 for a decent 20 gauge is a no brainer. You could turn around and dump it if you don't like it.

The Winchester 1300 pump was offered during the 1980's as a cheaper and updated version of the Model 12. It's just a basic, reliable pump shotgun, suitable for anything you'd use a pump gun for. It has an alloy receiver, making it a tad lighter than it's rival, the Remington 870 with it's all steel receiver.

They are nothing fancy, not really collectable, just a basic pump gun, period.
