One of the rear pins on my Rem 700 action VS SF II .204 that holds the bolt safety catch, slid out far enough that the catch would either not keep the bolt from sliding all the way out or wouldnt let it close. Well I got everything back together and working fine, but wanted some suggestion to make sure that didnt happen again? Also has this happened to anyone else?

Never had any such problem, with any of my 700's. I would watch it and if it occurs again, have a gunsmith or you put in a new and/or maybe tighter pin. Bill K
