3 x shot group fired with my Remy LVSF with Timney Trigger using Federal 39 grain ammo (factory) at 100 yards off a bipod with no rear support using a S&B "Long Range" 4 - 16 x 50 scope (set on 16 x)
Circle is one inch and group measures just about half an inch

I read elsewhere on this forum that Federal have ceased making the 39gn load.
Uh-oh. Better go grab some now, or start reloading.
Most guys have had a lot of success reloading 39BKs. And you can do them a LOT cheaper than the Federal loads (once you've got all the gear
)

I hope not as they run best out of my rifle. 32 Hornady are OK but I find 'em a bit too fast. 40 Grain Hornady group like a shottie in my rifle.
I'm screwed*
