I came across a Savage model 12 "BLUED" not stainless" 26"BB in 204 ruger, would'nt think much about it but it was single shot reciever with an accutrigger, it came from factory without a mag cut out. It was stated used but still had original registration card hanging from the trigger guard. So my trip for reload supplies I managed to pick up a new gun. I couldnt pass it up, had to add the oddity to my collection. anyone with info feel free to chime in, as I had no clue they made them.

Hi...May not be that "odd"...if you check Savages web page....some of their Model 12's ARE single shot rifles....and no they aren't all stainless models....Accurate as heck to.....Good luck...shot often and shoot straight.

Did a little more searching for info on it, far as I can tell its a pre 2006 model, as by finding screw spacing by different generation of reciever models. Its just had never heard of a blued tupperware stock model 12 having a single shot reciever before.
