Let me start off by saying I'm New to the forum. Now with that out of the way, I was wondering if anyone has shot fiocchi 32gr v-max loads? I own a savage 11fcns and have only shot hornady loads do far. I'm just wondering how the fiocchi loads pattern compared to the hornady's. In the future I would like to load my own rounds but need to familiarize myself with the reloading process.

The only way you are going to know how they work in your rifle, compared to Hornady or others, is simply to shoot them. Then, yes, you need to get into reloading your own and working up loads for your pet rifle/s.. Bill K :)

My rifle liked the Fiocchi's better then the hornady's. I guess it's a plus Fiocchi is somewhat cheaper, but now that I have started develpoing loads the v-max is my main bullet....for now

The Fiocchi ammo shot outstanding in my Howa 24" barrel. Both 32& 40 grain V-max.

I have yet to try 40 gr V-max in my rifle. Bought some 40 gr V-max to load up though

I've gotten some decent groups with the Fiocchi 32s at 100 yards .75 to .5". I just got a box of 40gr V-Max factory ammo and got my first sub half inch group. The rifle is a CZ varmint kevlar and shot off a bi-pod.

My best group with the Fiocchi 40 grainers was .132 inches. Be WARNED that I have had two different boxes of the 32 grain Fiocchis that were VERY hot. I had major cratering other overpressure signs. I bought them mostly for the good price, but was happy with the accuracy.
