cz 527 scopes wtf!!!!!

I just bought a cz 527 and had a 6x24x40 bsa with an illuminated ret. the bell is way to big doesnt let the bolt slide all the way back. Does any one have any suggestions on a scope that will work please?

Wouldn't it be cheaper to get higher rings?

Seems to be a coomon issue with CZ's.......apparently it's just the way they're made.

Yes, order a modified handle from Calhoun or contact CZ customer service and for the cost of shipping they replaced mine and paid return shipping.

I have seen someone who modified the angle of the bolt handle.

You'll have to change the bolt-handle bend angle to clear the ocular bell (www.jamescalhoon.com). Even-higher than stock rings might work, but that would put the scope up near the ionosphere: not good for cheek weld, (or the looks of that compact rifle, imo.)

I have a 4.5-14x Leupold that barely clears...I've also thought about getting the bolt handle bent for just a little more clearance...My thumb keeps scraping the bell each time..
