I just purchased one of these rifles in a single shot,
I was really looking for one of the BVSS models in the Single Shot. The BVSS is no longer made in the Single Shot in 204 ruger caliber.
Does anybody know who made the BVSS Stocks? are they available as after market option?
Oh, Do you have one of these and how do you like it.
How does it shoot @ 100, 200YDS?
any tips you care to share about this Rifle?
Thanks to all for your replys,

You may have other issues, but accuracy souldn't be one of them.Mine shot sub 1/2 MOA right out of the box (.333).Primers were cratering, and it would not eject half the time.I took pics of the cratered primers and Savage sent a pick up order for UPS, the next day.Returned with the bolt head/firing pin ok,but only ejected 3 of 10 cases.I had them send a couple new extractors, and that solved the problem.Custoner service is A+,QC needs improvment,IMO.

I made a 20 VarTarg with that action a couple years ago and love it. I bought another one this year and just put a 6.5-284 together but have not shot it yet. I have had no problems with mine.
HS Precision makes the stock for this action PSV102/106/118. Mine cost $300 from Stockys.
