I spend too much time reading this forum. Don't post much but I sure read a lot and learn. One of these days I'll know enough to contribute. This forum costs me a lot of money.
There is a lot of great information here that fuels my addiction. Always looking for a new load or a new rifle to improve that accuracy. Just dumped another paycheck; on a Cooper this time. Will not have it for a week but already planning on load development and a trip to the range next weekend.
Wife may use it to shoot me in the backside.
I am assuming that there are a lot of folks out there with similar problems. We should start a support group. Wait... maybe this is a support group. Nope, support groups help you overcome your addictions.

We are a support group, and will be more than happy to help with your addiction. We will not encourage a cure, but will add to your addiction when ever possible.
All you need to do is, just ask, and always keep in mind that we love pics of destroyed vermin, gun porn, and don't forget, pics of your local area.
Welcome to our community, and our common addiction!
Congrats on the Cooper. How did you score a Cooper in a
week?

Went to the local Cooper dealer, he didn't have one but called he Cooper to check on availability. They told him at least 4 months.
Found one on the web and made the phone call. 10 minutes later I got a Model 21, 204 that should be here within a week.
Also was forced to order a VX3 with the varmint reticle, have one on another 204 and it is a great match. Wife don't know about this yet.

Kirk: Welcome to the madness.......
and the "Cooper Curse". (Once you've got one, you've just
GOT to have another!) Looks like it'll be a very fine setup....remember: PICS!
This is a great place, full of mentors that will help diminish your bank account in a tidy manner. Welcome aboard.

Just got back from the range. Trying to get the 39 gr SBKs to shoot through my M77. No joy. They are shooting great in my AR, it has a 1/10 twist. Looks like the 12 twist is going to limit me to the 32 gr bullets for the Ruger.
Had a ball anyway, son was helping me test the loads since we had 2 rifles to check. Weather was great, close to 100 degrees now but we started at about 78 this morning.
Don't see many 204s down here so when guys walk by my chrono the most common thing I hear "is that right".
Will have to load up some more for next weekend. Really looking forward to fondling a Cooper.

There is a difference between compulsion (irresistable urge
) and addiction (dependence).
In addition to the very fine Cooper.204 Ruger there are many other rifles that some of us are compelled to have- this is why I have a big gun safe and a secured safe room full of rifles and shooting gear.
Our efforts stimulate the economy.

May I add -- some time ago somebody, who is temporarily in a position of importance said, "that's why they cling to their guns and religion"
Buy American!

Able to take a photo and get it posted. Made it a group photo of my 204s. Not able to get to the range this weekend, tropical storm is going to sit right on top of us for a while.
Gonna have to wait a week or two to run some rounds throug the Cooper.
