Finally got a 204. Ruger!

So i joined this forum to decide on what i wanted to get, figuring reading a little from you guys would help me decide. There has been something about the 204 that has always caught my eye, and so reading on here it was sold on the caliber. 204 it was. I already have a heavy long range rig, (remington 700 sps varmint, topped with vortex viper 6.5-20x44mm shooting 80 grain soft point around 3350 FPS shooting less then half " groups) so i figured why not get the 204. ruger for a light carry around rifle, and well just for fun. I went out to a gun shop near by and they had a gentlemen buy a Remington sps stainless off them for 739 before tax just cause he wanted to try the 204. He put 2 boxes through it and took 1 coyote, and 5 ground hogs, then rest was on targets. He loved it so much he returned to the shop and returned the rifle and went out to get himself a high end 204. ruger. Well anyways, i came across it and the store was selling it for 700 due to being used. We told them i wanted it and he gave us a discount and we got it for 575. I topped it off with a redfield 3-9x40mm which he also gave me a discount on and picked up some ammunition today and went to my range. took a while, but i got it down pretty good. The 40 grain vmax shot about 2 " group at 100 yards, the 45 shot about 1" group and the 32 were shooting about .75" groups. Now this is leaning off the back of my truck. i will be going out to fix it up and really sit down (weather was bad and ddin;t have much time). Just after getting it sighted in, a crow landed litterally 5 feet in front of the target and about 10 feet left of the target. squeezed off a shot with the 32 grain vmax and sent that bird in 3 different directions. i got to watch the hole thing in my scope too. I love the gun and had to share!!
