And oddly enough I can't seem to find any pics of my 700 with a Maple T-hole stock from Richards Micro Fit. :chin: I hope these pesky Ohio groundhogs ddin't break into the safe & steal it along with all my pics hoping I wouldn't realize it's gone!!

I've also shot them with the old yard sale table Mossberg 22LR, Ruger MKII Target 22LR, 17Mach2, Marlin 357 lever gun, & the 50cal Winchester muzzle loader.

Anschutz 1517D HB G (.17 HMR).

Pretty much a factory R700 SPS Varmint in .204 Ruger. Been glass bedded and free floated.

Image

R700 BDL "Varmint Special" in .22-250 (circa 1987). I love shooting this rifle, but I am always scared of scratching it when I am in the field.

While I've got heavy-barrelled guns for pdoggin', groundhoggin' locally doesn't require many shots, so I stick with sporter weight guns, around here, it's usually close range and quick.

CZ455 .17 HMR
Marlin 17V .17HMR
CZ 527 .22 Hornet
CZ 527 .221 Fireball
CZ 527 .204 Ruger

I won't post pics, everyone knows what they look like, mine aren't unique examples............

Do rock chucks count? If so, my smallest Chuck Rifle.....Browning 1885 Low Wall chambered in .22 K-Hornet. It loves either the 30gr Barnes Varmint Grenade (the one that did these guys in), or the old Nosler 45gr Flatbase....shoots in the .2's believe it or not.

Another one of my chuck walkabout rifles, a Sako Vixen L461 in 223 Rem:

I won't clog the server with my HB rifles.....light barreled sporters are much better for humping the hills around here. ;)

here is 3 of the guns I will use for groundhogs this year. The 22-250 is missing from this photo. From top to bottom Ruger 77/17 HMR, Superior Arms AR in 204 Ruger, and Ruger M77/II in.243 win

Image

The 204 shoots the 39gr SBK and the .243 shoots the 75gr Vmax
