Nosler Pro Shop Open Again

For those fortunate enough to live in easy proximity to the Nosler plant, they'd like to let everyone know that the Pro Shop is open for business again starting Monday morning, 14 June. There will be a "Fire Sale" for many items such as bullets, reloading gear, and other stuff that had either water or smoke damage...all of it is still good, just can't be sold as "new" because of the event recently.

Production of bullets will start withing 30 days, so any "shortage' implied by a dealer is really imaginary, as they're still shipping from the warehouse and there's still lots in the pipeline.

Nosler is back in business! Skippy take note!

Good deal! Glad to hear things are settling down and "normalizing" if that's the right word.
Sure glad no one got seriously hurt in the event, buildings are replaceable.

Thanks for the heads up. I was wondering if there were going to be some deals. I'll have to play hooky at some point tomorrow and check it out!

I was just up there....alot of new displays of new/used rifles, some very, very tempting offerings to be sure. There's also alot of "Fire Sale" bullets, mostly boxed up 1,000/box in about every caliber. Not much 204, but plenty of .224" BT's, other varmint and hunting calibers, in AccuBond, Partition, BT, etc.

Not sure if any of this is on line (doubt it), but they ship UPS daily, and the Pro Shop number is 541-312-2506 if you want to check it out. :D

Good try Captain, no Coopers (really..... ;) ), but I did see a nice Kimber, Sako, Win and Rem varmint rifles. There was/is some screaming deals on bulk boxed bullets though, and they've now got even more rifles in stock and on display than they did previously with a quick remodel of the Pro Shop.

I'd be curious how their .224 55 gr ballistics are doing? Midway has them now, but is still rationing. Powder Valley is still showing B.O.

Another quote from Midway 7-1-10:

"Thanks for your recent e-mail. We apologize about any inconvenience. We try to make all our customers are satisfied. We hope that Nosler will be back up and running soon but the gas explosion that occured did destroy their entire facility. Once the vendor get up and running we will remove the limits."

Thankfully we don't plan to do another shoot until next year. Sux, but I guess it's tough to deal with the heat in the Dakotas in summer...

TDM: That is complete and absolute B.S.! The explosion only damaged one small corner of one building, NOT the entire facility, and many of the bullet presses are turning out bullets as of two weeks ago. Entire facility indeed....they need to get their facts straight.

Don't know about your .224" 55's, but presses are chomping out bullets, I've been up there, seen it myself.......
