I had really bad luck with the Rifle Basix trigger. Lots of creep and safety would not work properly. It took a little filing but I am happy with my SSS trigger. I replaced a non-accutrigger trigger in my Savage.

I had the same experience, with a Savage. I even sent the action & trigger back to them (Rifle Basix) and returned it in the same exact condition. Finally, I fixed it myself. Tock-tite works wonders.

I have a couple of each - Timney, Rifle Basix, SSS, and Canjar (no longer made).
IMHO, none of them are great, just better than a factory trigger, to a degree. The pitfall of the Savage triggers is the stamped metal sear/bolt release and bolt body. If these were manufactured different, believe we would have something.
Jard is supposed to be coming out with a new trigger for the Savages.
