What load is best for coyote hunting in .243. Is there a good of the shelf round that would be ideal for saving coyote pelts. I want a good kill with minimal damage.

My thoughts on a .243 for coyote, any light weight bullet (below 90 Gr and not a FMJ) will open up way to much to save the pelt.
You might have better luck with the 100 Gr premium deer bullets. They will not open up so fast as to leave a gapping hole on the back side, but they will still leave a big hole.
